I imagine myself living in a moslem country, where half of my friends carry the name Muhammad. Perhaps my father is a Muhammad too. Isn't it really confusing to find out my toy, 'whom' I love very much just like I love my father and brothers, cannot be named Muhammad?<br/><br/>So innocent soft toy cannot be named Muhammad because it's an insult to the image of the Prophet, but there are thousands of other Muhammads, tall, short, skinny, fat, bald, hairy, white, brown, etc. Aren't they an insult too, because we are not allowed to visualize the Prophet in the first place? If my niece name her teddy Jesus, I don't think she or her mom will get arrested. After all the teddy bear is not a symbol of anything bad.
