The story was bizarre the first time I read it and it remains bizarre.

I am wondering why you would go through the hassle of gender reassignment if you still harbour desires such as motherhood.

So, does the kid call him mum or dad? I guess it is gotta be dad seeing there is already a mum, right?

The kid is gonna be loving it when it comes to "show and tell" at school. He gets to invite his dada who also happens to be the person that gave birth to him (assuming the little sprog is a boy)...

It reminds me of the Arnold Schwarznegger and Danny Devito film "Junior"!

Interestingly enough, I just found out last night that one of my housemates is seriously considering becoming a transmen! Definitely made an interesting dinner conversation

@elyani, most transmen (according to my housemate) keep their female organs (womb, vagina, ovaries, etc) simply because there is (yet) no way to create working male organs/genitalia from a female one (it is however much easier to convert male to female). And they no longer have periods because of the testosterone taken.

I think you can’t have best of both worlds. If you want to give up womanhood to be a man, give it up all the way around, not install which part of which organ you want, and which part of which organ you don’t want. I was wondering since he keeps his ovaries and womb, does that mean he menstruate every month thru his penis?

first time reading, i didn't care. then after a while..it's interesting.

i am thinking if it will be possible (in the future) for a transex individual human being to produce sperm and incubate eggs (from the same person). this will make the real news; first hermaprodite human. a person that fuck him/herself.

but in this case, he was born as a she and got the sperm from another individual. nothing really shocking biologically.
